"FBiSureID will truely identify web site users, without the risk of other solutions"

>> FBiSureID™ FAQ

Does the web site get a copy of my fingerprint?

No. FBiSureID uses data from the key aspects of your fingerprint to generate a unique biometric access key. This key is unique to you, and can only be created using your fingerprint, but it cannot be used in any way to create a copy of your fingerprint.

What if I loose my FBiDrive?

You may obtain a new drive from any retailer, direct from Newport Scientific Research, or in some cases your financial institution. Your web site access information can be restored from an encrypted backup file, which you are prompted to created on a regular basis.

Can FBiSureID?s be copied from my FBiDrive?

No. In fact, the FBiSureID keys for web site access are never stored on the drive. The biometric passkeys are generated dynamically each time you request access and provide a valid fingerprint.

What if my bank or other web site does not have FBiSureID?

Any web site that is not secured using FBiSureID is not providing the best available technology to secure and protect your information and assets.

But the FBiDrive does provide a password manager which will work with traditional Username and Passwords, and locks your site passwords with your fingerprint for an extra level of protection.

Why should I use FBiSureID?

To protect your identity, prevent unauthorized transactions within your online accounts, and to preserve your financial assets.

How secure is FBiSureID?

Using your fingerprint for authentication is a very strong method to protect your information and assets. Compared to Username and Password login access, FBiSureID is many, many times more secure, and would require billions of years of computing power to hack.

Will using FBiSureID make using my web sites more complicated?

No. In fact, quite a bit easier. You no longer have to worry about creating and remembering Usernames and Passwords. And you won?t even have to remember the web address of your web sites.

Can someone use a fake or ?lifted? fingerprint to fool and FBiDrive?

No. The FBiDrive does not use less expensive optical scanners, so it cannot be fooled by ?lifted? fingerprints, gels, or other methods that have been used to defeat other fingerprint devices.

The FBiDrive sensor uses a sophisticated antenna array and a low power current to sense the live level of skin which is the source of your fingerprint. Only a real, live finger can authenticate with the sensor.

What types of hacking and ID theft does the FBiSureID technology help prevent?

Account hacking (brute force and dictionary), phishing, keyboard loggers, email account hijack, and others. It also prevents the very common problem of ?discovered? passwords left under keyboards, mouse pads, drawers, etc.
